www.adoptabeach.org.uk - a site from the Marine Conservation Society UK – look in 'Beach Litter' about plastic bags. Godalming is also listed here as a town that is campaigning on the plastic bag issue.

www.wwf.org.uk - the Worldwide Fund for Nature has its headquarters in Godalming and is the town's biggest employer. They sell reusable bags and also have corn starch garden sacks for sale on their site.
